Here are the 5 Reason Why Microsoft Edge is Better than Chrome:
Today, when we talk about browsers, most of the people who are on Windows or Android platform use Chrome whereas those who use the Mac or iOS prefer the Safari Browser. Microsoft on the other hand used to have Internet Explorer as its default browser till recent years, but now its back in the game with a new browser i.e. The Microsoft Edge. The Edge is available across all the platforms and its making the news lately.
1. ‘Continue to PC’
Now, lets look at this exclusive feature for which you’ll need to connect your phone to your Computer. The Browser on the bottom of the screen features a pane which has ‘Continue to PC’ option using which users can instantly open a page they are reading on their phone over their laptop or computer. You just need to tap on that option and select the device and the link pops up in your Computer within few seconds.
Lets start with the home page. It looks pretty neat and clear and take a note here, you can disable the suggestions which appear beneath the favourites list. This is not possible when you use chrome on an Android device.
2. Barcode, AdBlocker and QR Code Scanner
The search tab comes with a Barcode & QR Scanner embedded in it which is an unique feature of the Edge. On accessing a particular website, we have the option of disabling the ads which appear while users are surfing on the Internet & this feature is available for free.
3. Reading Mode:
If you have a hobby of reading blogs or articles on the internet, or eBooks, the Edge comes with an in-built reading mode like we have in the Safari Browser.
4. Continue where you left off:
Suppose you are reading some article and suddenly some other work needs your attention, you can simply set a reminder to remind you about where you had left reading & the reminder comes with flexible setting like time & place making this feature helpful upto some extent.
5. Neat Tile View of Tabs:
Now since we have opened multiple tabs, let me show you how clean the tabs look with a neat tile view. This seems to be a good move for those who use multiple tabs at given instance of time. Now lets navigate to the previous page and next page. Its verdadero easy to navigate using the dedicated buttons for the previous page, next page & the home page. Going back to the previous page on chrome uses the back button on the phone but if you have to go to the next page, well you try it yourself on your android phone.
The Chrome comes installed by default in the android phone, that why it is used that widely, but the Edge has a little more to offer than the Chrome. The Edge Updates very often and its constantly in the developing Phase and we hope it brings more features before us in coming months.
