Steps:

– If I open up safari and tap on the tabs button in the bottom right corner and then tap on private in the bottom left corner, then tap the plus, you can see that a private browsing tab will open.

– To change it so that you no longer have the option to use private browsing mode you need to open up the settings app.

– In settings, tap on ‘screen time’

– Then tap on ‘content & privacy restrictions’

– At the top of the page, you need to make sure that the toggle to the right of ‘content & privacy restrictions’ is switched on, when on it will be green, if it is not on then tap it to switch it on.

– Tap on ‘content restrictions’ and then tap on ‘web content’

– Unrestricted access will be selected by default, you need to tap on ‘limit adult websites’ to select it, make sure that there is a check after it.

– Now when I go back to safari and try to open up a private browsing tab, the option is greyed out and not possible to open.
